PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic salt excellent in stability, handling properties, the solubility in an organic solvent and the like, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The metallic salt comprises a metal cation complex containing only ligands composed of an organic compound containing an unsaturated bond and a weakly coordinated anion or comprises a metal cation complex containing ligands composed of an organic compound containing an unsaturated bond and a silver ion or a thallium ion and a weakly coordinated anion, and is characterized in that (1) the bondings between the ligands composed of an organic compound containing an unsaturated bond and the metal are allη<SP>1</SP>bondings and (2) no bonding exists between the metal cation and the weakly coordinated anion.
