In a retractable ball-point pen, an arcuately movable member 23 is interposed between the rear end 19 of the reservoir 17 and the head 71 of the pocket clip 25, such that movement of the head of the clip into the recess 40 of the pen barrel 11 causes the member 23 to move arcuately and impart linear movement to the reservoir 17 longitudinally of the barrel 11. The member 23 may be integrally moulded with the pen barrel, as may the pocket clip 25, or may be hinged to the barrel as illustrated in (Fig. 8) |
