PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil cooler improved in heat exchange efficiency. SOLUTION: The oil cooler has a large number of core plates 5 laminated and joined with one another, wherein clearances between the laminated core plates 5 constitute fluid passages allowing a fluid to flow through, and these fluid passages are used to constitute oil passages 6 and cooling water passages 7 alternately in the laminated direction of the core plates 5. The cooling water passage 7 has a cooling water lead-in hole 9a for leading the fluid into the cooling water passage 7, and a cooling water discharge hole 9b for discharging the fluid from the cooling water passage 7. The lower core plate 31 (5) is formed with a plurality of protruding parts 40 protruded toward the upper core plate 32 (5), and the plurality of protruding parts 40 are set to cause roughness and fineness in distribution in the cooling water passage 7 so that the flow of the fluid from the cooling water lead-in hole 9a to the cooling water discharge hole 9b is uniform in the whole cooling water passage 7.
