PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wig in which short fibers and long fibers are planted on a wig base in preset fixed hair amounts, in preset fixed ratios by controlling the ratios and which exhibits a volume feeling by rising of planted hairs and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The short fibers 3 and the long fibers 4 are planted on the wig base 2 in preset fixed hair amounts and the short fibers 3 and the long fibers 4 are planted in preset fixed ratios by controlling the ratios. Long fibers to become short fibers are planted on the wig base 2 and cut to the short fibers 3 of fixed length and then the long fibers 4 are planted between the short fibers 3.
