PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the heat-retaining property of an accumulator by securing the full effect of heat insulation. SOLUTION: A heat storage container 41 in the form of a horizontal cylinder having a vacuum part 44 is provided. A first heat insulating wall 45 having a vacuum part 47 is provided above a first opening 41a in the heat storage container 41. A first lid member 49 is fitted into the first opening 41a in the heat storage container 41 from the outside of the first heat insulating wall 45. A water pipe 51 for supplying engine cooling water into the lower portion of the heat storage container 41 is mounted on the first lid member 49. A second heat insulating wall 46 having a vacuum part 48 above the heat storage container 41 is provided at a second opening 41b in the heat storage container 41. A second lid member 50 is fitted into the second opening 41b in the heat storage container 41 from the outside of the second heat insulating wall 46.
