PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new container for spare toilet paper, wherein a clogging accident is avoided by eliminating the need for wrapping paper and taking-away is prevented, it is good from hygienic and appearance point of view, troublesomeness and inconvenience are eliminated, and an economic load is reduced all at onece. SOLUTION: This container for reserve toilet paper includes a container body, a container lid with a through hole, an operating shaft inserted into the container body via the through hole, a handle provided at the outer end of the operating shaft, and a toilet paper supporting part provided at the inner end of the operating shaft. The toilet paper supporting part is constituted of an elastic wire material and supports reserve toilet paper by preventing the reserve toilet paper from being fallen down by pressing the supporting part against the peripheral wall of the shaft hole when the supporting part is inserted into the shaft hole of toilet paper, and is formed into a shape to slide along the peripheral wall of the shaft hole to allow the supporting part to be drawn out when external downward extracting force is applied on the reserve toilet paper.
