LIGHT SCATTERING FILM, AND COLOR FILTER, ELECTRODE SUBSTRATE FOR REFLECTION TYPE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY APPARATUS, AND REFLECTION TYPE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY USING FILM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique by which a liquid crystal display capable of realizing display of small color change even when seen from any direction can be obtained.

SOLUTION: A light scattering film is equipped with a resin layer and particles dispersed in the resin layer and is characterized by comprising combination of the resin constituting the resin layer and the particles selected so that a chromaticity profile of reflected light at 0° to 80°, which is transmitted through the light scattering film, is reflected by a mirror surface and then is transmitted through the light scattering film again, satisfies relations: 0.28≤x≤0.40 and 0.28≤y≤0.40 in a XYZ color specification system toward incident light from -30° of a D65 light source when a normal direction is made to be 0° toward a film surface of the light scattering film.
