PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display which has a light shading film manufactured at a low cost without increasing the number of processes. SOLUTION: This display has a monitor element to suppress the effects by the changes in temperature and over aging of the light emitting elements, and a TFT to drive the monitor. This TFT to drive the monitor do not overlap the monitor element. Further, it has a 1st light shading film overlapping the 1st electrode of the monitor element, and a 2nd light shading film overlapping the outer fringe of the 1st electrode.
