PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and fully remove sand from a cast product having fine and complicated core shape, such as automobile engine in a method for removing the core sand stuck to a workpiece. SOLUTION: This method for removing the core sand is performed as the followings, by which a cast product formed with the casting and stuck to the core sand is held for 10-30 min at≥0.9 ml/min flow speed in fluid mainly containing carbon dioxide pressurized at≥10 MPa pressure and heated at≥40°C, or the above cast product is held for≥0.5 ml/min flow speed and for 10-30 min in the fluid mainly containing the water having≥20 MPa and at≥150°C temperature to remove the core sand.
