PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently evaporate a moisture content in a water-base coating film while suppressing a temperature and/or a time of pre-heating as small as possible when the pre-heating is performed after a coating step using the water-base coating and wet-on-wet coating is performed by a second coating. SOLUTION: The coating method is provided with a first coating step using a first coating comprising the water-base coating; a pre-heating step performed at a temperature condition of 40-70°C and at a time condition of 0.5-2 minutes after the first coating step; a second coating step for performing the wet-on-wet coating on the coating film of the first coating using the second coating after the pre-heating step; and a drying/curing step after the second coating step. Coating by the first coating (water-base coating) in the first coating step is performed using a bell type rotary spray coating machine and warming air and/or dry air is used as shaping air.
