PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that appearance is poor, costs are high since molded requiring troublesome technique, using is difficult in engagement and opening/closing processes due to its constitution, and alteration, removement and breakage occur easily in an engagement and opening/closing mechanism of a holding part for a POP card in the case of retrieving and inputting various kinds of information about displayed commodities of the card held at the original price card holding plate by a retrieving device in a POP card holder mounted and overlapped to the front face of a price card holding plate mounted originally constantly on the front face of a shelf board of a merchandise dispaly shelf. SOLUTION: The card holder 1 is composed of: the card holding part 2 obtained by extending an upper edge of the rear side insert-holding piece 2b of plate-like front/rear insert-holding pieces 2a and 2b with U-shaped cross sections upward, bending it backward and bending it back toward this side of a lower side to make a hook-shaped hooking part 3; and a shelf board guard frame part 4 which has a hollow part 5a of a size capable of housing the engaging part rotatably and where an engagement receiving part 5 of a tubular cross section obtained by notching a rear place along the longitudinal direction of its upper wall to be an opening part 6 is formed on an upper edge.
