FIELD: rare metal technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises precipitation of germanium in the form of scarcely dissoluble organic derivatives with mixture of hydroxycarboxylic acid and long-chain amine, the former, in particular, being tartaric, citric, or oxalic acid and the latter N-cetylpyridinium chloride or alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride at molar proportion of 2 to 6 per mole germanium.
