The present invention relates to a method for triggering control information of transmitting window in radio link control layer. The RLC receiving party detects periodically whether control information of transmitting window needs to be triggered, then transmits Window Size SUFI information; transmits Window Size SUFI information once for each a certain period, retransmits same Window Size SUFI information for a certain number times; and restarts a new process after fully transmitting. In the present invention, the RLC transmitting party can frequently receive Window Size SUFI information by periodically triggering transmission of Window Size SUFI information in the RLC receiving party, so as to enhance reliability of transmitting Window Size SUFI information and overcome defects in triggering techniques for Window Size SUFI information in the prior art. The size of transmitting window can be adjusted timely and a decrease in use efficiency of bandwidth in RLC protocol is avoided. |
