METHOD OF DIOXIN ANALYSIS

A method of dioxin analysis capable of detection with high sensitivity. There is provided a method of dioxin analysis, comprising the first step of with respect to multiple dioxin isomers of known concentrations, acquiring a specified wavelength spectrum for each of the dioxin isomers, selecting multiple specified wavelengths on each of the acquired specified wavelength spectra, and preparing an analytical curve showing the relationship between, at selected specified wavelength, ion signal intensity and dioxin isomer concentration for each of all the selected specified wavelengths with respect to each of the dioxin isomers; the second step of preparing a sensitivity matrix showing the relationship between, at multiple specified wavelengths, ion signal intensities and multiple dioxin isomer concentrations on the basis of the analytical curves for individual dioxin isomers prepared in the first step; and the third step of acquiring a specified wavelength spectrum of analyte sample and, using ion signal intensities of the specified wavelength spectrum and the sensitivity matrix obtained in the second step, carrying out a quantitative determination of the concentrations of multiple dioxin isomers contained in the analyte sample.
