<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a display device in which improvement in the display grade of the display device is made possible by suppressing generation of an unpacked area of liquid materials and mixing (color mixing) between the liquid materials in forming a functional film in a method of using the liquid materials, such as in an ink jet method, and its manufacturing method, and a color filter substrate, thin-film transistors array substrate, liquid crystal display device and organic electroluminescence display device obtained by using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The substrate for the display device has a structure that the functional thin film is partitioned by a bank on the substrate and the contour line pattern of the functional film has a spread to the corners inside the bank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
