<p>Filter element for dedusting air or gas, partic. towns gas or natural gas, in which a closed coating of fine filter material with a pore size =10 mu m is applied to a known perforated sheet metal tubular support, the coating of fine filter material being covered in turn with a layer of open or mixed cell porous material, the pore size and volume increasing radially from the inside outwards by at least 30%. Has a higher operational stability with at least as good a degree of separation and gas throughput as the known 'Peerless' (R.T.M) filter candles.</p> |
