The road map generation method uses support points for actual roads between which road segments are defined, with calculation and storage of the initial and/or final curvature and segment length parameters for a clotoid corresponding to a road segment between two support points, using successive calculation steps, until the permissible error between the clotoid curvature and the actual road is reached. An Independent claim is also included for a device for controlling at least one automobile system onboard an automobile provided with a navigation system is also included. |
