PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a highly visible cartridge having an improved retainer. SOLUTION: An almost translucent cartridge for holding a surgical clip such as used in surgical ligating treatment is given. This cartridge has a base part of a polymer compound and a separable clip retainer of the polymer compound supported by this base part. The polymer compound of these base part and retainer essentially gives a translucent optical effect and has optical diffusing particles which make the surgical clip in the cartridge visible. This polymer compound can further have a radiation impermeable additive for being capable of imaging the cartridge during radiation photography. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
