A screw thread (A) attaches to the outer side of a protective element for a filament lamp holder (FLH), which is made from non-electrically conductive material. Opposite a flat part (G) on the protective element's overhang (B) there is an area that is shortened compared with a conventional FLH cap to support the screw thread and act as a flat covering surface (D).
