<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat load detector smoothly conveyable and smoothly assembleable to a seat or a car body. <P>SOLUTION: One end of a torsion bar 10 is fixed to a fixed bracket 8 fixed to the vehicle side, and an arm member 9 is fixed to the other end of the torsion bar 10. The first torsional state measuring part 13 fixed to the fixed bracket 8, and having a magnet facing to a Hall element carried by the second torsional state measuring part 14 constituting a torsional state detection part 11 is provided on one end of the arm member 9, and a load support arm 16 is turnably pivoted on the other end of the arm member 9. A connector cap 19 is mounted on a connector part 15 of the second torsional state measuring part 14.
