PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile composite machine capable of informing a user about the reception of information denoting a required phone call or facsimile data during a visit by means of electronic mail and acquiring automatic answering data and facsimile data in response to the user's convenience. SOLUTION: The facsimile composite machine discriminates whether or not a caller of a call is an opposite party whose call is registered for report to each user in advance on the basis of a received caller number at the arrival of the call, and when the caller is the opposite party the arrival of the call from whom is to be reported to the user, voice data are stored in the case of the phone call, the facsimile data are stored in the case of the facsimile call and mail of storing the data is transmitted to the user. When the user makes a call from its registration terminal, the facsimile composite machine recognizes the caller number, discriminates the call to be a phone call for extraction of the data for the user, and transmits the stored data to the registration terminal.
