PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use depilator for improving hair removing efficiency by preventing changes of hair removing positions of rotary cylinders caused by unevenness of the skin, and allowing hair removing by directly looking at the rotary cylinders. SOLUTION: The rotary cylinders 4 driven by a driving means is provided on a depilating head 1H so as to remove hair by opening and closing depilating claws. The depilator has a depilating block 2 formed by arranging two or more of the rotary cylinders 4 side by side so that their rotational axes 56j are parallel. A swinging fulcrum 3 is provided on the depilating block 2 so that the depilating block 2 is swung around the swinging fulcrum 3. An opening and closing means of the depilating claws is provided so as to swing integrally with the depilating block 2 so that the depilating claws open and close near the surface on the side of the skin, which is parallel with a plane formed by connecting each of the rotation centers of the rotary cylinders 4.
