The invention relates to a method for the production of polymers by transition-metal catalysed polycondensation. Said polymers are above all of extreme importance in the rapidly-growing field of organic semiconductors. The polymers produced by said method may be produced with greater reproducibility and greater purity than for polymers obtained by conventional methods.
