摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable spectral transmittance element which is easily manufactured and has a high plane accuracy in a wide range and to provide an endoscope apparatus equipped with the variable spectral transmittance element. <P>SOLUTION: The variable spectral transmittance element is arranged in the optical path of an optical system provided with imaging device 7. The variable spectral transmittance element is composed by providing a plurality of sets of opposing micromirrors 4 and 5 which have an effective diameter to get through the luminous flux which is received by some of light-receiving regions composed of respective pixels 2a or a plurality of pixels of the imaging device 7, and arranged in parallel on a substantially same plane 3 which is perpendicular to the optical axis, and a distance-varying means which varies the distance between the opposing micromirrors 4 and 5 of respective sets. The plurality of sets of opposing micromirrors 4 and 5 are so composed that the gap between the opposing miccormirors 4 and 5 are variable for every set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
