PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod integrator whose manufacture cost is low and which is excellent in durability and heat resistance. SOLUTION: The rod integrator 10 which uniformizes luminous density while reflecting luminous flux made incident from a first end 11 by inside surfaces 23, 24, 33 and 34, guides the luminous flux to the second end 12 on the other side and emits it from the second end 12 is constituted by bending sheet metal members 20 and 30 having the reflection surfaces 23, 24, 33 and 34 so that the reflection surfaces 23, 24, 33 and 34 are directed inside.
