PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition module capable of properly controlling current flowing in a primary side coil of an ignition coil irrespective of the presence or absence of a battery. SOLUTION: Electric power of an alternate current power generator 20 is stored in a capacitor 12 through a diode 11 after being rectified by a regulator 22. The capacitor 12 is connected with a terminal on a high potential side of the primary side coil 4a of the ignition coil 4 through a transistor 16. Voltage of the electric power stored in the capacitor 12 is reduced by a regulator 13 and then is stored in a capacitor 14. The electric power stored in the capacitor 14 is supplied to a CPU 15. The CPU 15 operates a conducting condition between an emitter and a collector of the transistor 16 to control current flowing in the primary side coil 4a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
