PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material supply device, an image forming device and a storage cassette, capable of restraining dislocation of a separating pad in relation to a device body, by reducing the number of part items, while allowing replacing of the separating pad. SOLUTION: An MP separating pad 63 is constituted to be installed via a pad holder 64 detachably arranged in a recessed place 75 of a unit case 70a. The pad holder 64 is energized by energizing force of an energizing member 65 up to a releasing position for releasing journaling of a rotary shaft part 90 by a bearing part 94 by moving an MP separating roller 62 to a position dislocated from an opposed position with the MP separating pad 63.
