SHEET MATERIAL FEEDER AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material feeder improved in a function for surely separating sheets materials from each other for delivery by always giving constant proper friction force to the sheet materials stacked inside a stacking part. SOLUTION: A plate spring 2 and a friction pad 1 are assembled in a support part 13 provided in a bottom plate 12 of the sheet stacking part, and the friction pad 1 is projected from a holding hole 13a of the support part 13, and the friction pad 1 is energized in a direction of a feeding roller 4 by the plate spring 2. The friction pad 1 always gives constant proper pressure P1to the sheet material S with energizing force of the plate spring 2 without occurring unevenness.
