PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a totally-enclosing cover device capable of reducing noise generated from a machine tool. SOLUTION: Upright frames of a rear frame body are respectively erected on each of the front, rear, right, and left faces of a bed of the machine tool from the floor face. The bed of the machine tool is surrounded by putting a panel plate around each front face of the upright frames. A cross rail is put around the upper part of each of the upright frames into a four-frame shape. A pair of rotary supporting shafts for a transparent window is provided to the center of the right cross rail and the nearly central part of the left cross rail on the four frame-shaped cross rails on the upright frames. A hog-backed ceiling dome cover with a nearly semi-circular cross-section is composed by providing a rear dome cover 20, in which the cross-section of the left side wall face has a double circular arc shaped and fan-like groove for storing a transparent window and the right side wall face is an open type, by allowing the rotary supporting shaft for a transparent window to freely rotatably support an arc-shaped transparent window 30 made of a resin, and by providing a right side face rear dome cover 40, in which the cross-section of the left side face has a double circular arc shaped and fan-like groove for storing a transparent window, to the rear part on the four frame-shaped cross rails provided on the rear upright frame. Consequently, it is possible to provide the totally-enclosing cover device 1, which surrounds the front, rear, right, and left of the machine tool and around a ceiling, to the machine tool.
