<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive unit capable of shortening the starting time of a motor. <P>SOLUTION: In the motor drive unit 100, a control part 110 detects the rotation speed of the motor to be driven, and generates a control voltage Vcnt so that the detected number approximates the desired rotation speed. A clamp circuit 20 makes the control part 110 limit the upper limit value Vcu and the lower limit value Vcl of the control voltage Vcnt. A drive part 120 drives the motor 200 on the basis of the control voltage Vcnt generated by the control part 110.
