<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cake which can be notched to control the gushing of the melted rice cake by its swelling phenomenon during a toasting treatment, can practically be produced without deteriorating the beautiful appearance of the toasted rice cake, after toasted, gives the toasted rice cake not only losing the beautiful appearance but also, on the contrary, automatically having an epoch-making toasted shape capable of being easily eaten, improving an appetite, and capable of being really eaten in a good taste, can easily and uniformly be toasted, although such the toasting has been difficult, and permits expectation on the remarkable increase in the consumption of the rice case. <P>SOLUTION: This rice cake is characterized by forming one or more notches 3 or grooves having lengths in the circumferential direction or disposed in the circumferential direction, on the side surface 2A of the upper side surface 2 of the small rice cake 1 such as a round rice cake except its flat tip surface or mounting bottom surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
