METHOD, SYSTEM, AND COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM FOR MAKING LAYOUT OF AUTOMATICALLY-PLACED ELEMENT AND USER-PLACED ELEMENT ON CHART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, system and computer readable storage medium for deciding layout of automatically-placed elements and user-placed elements on a chart which is made by a chart application program.

SOLUTION: The chart application program executes a method including automatic layout of automatically-placed chart elements and user-placed chart elements according to automatic place and size calculated by the chart application program and executes selecting a group of automatically-placed chart elements and user-placed chart elements of which are laid out on the chart beforehand. The method also includes re-selecting respective elements among the elements of which are automatically laid out on the chart, deciding whether the selected chart element is the user-placed chart element, and making layout of the user-placed chart elements on the chart according to the user specified layout when the selected chart element is the user-placed chart element.
