LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel provided with a liquid crystal cell wherein a contrast ratio in an oblique direction and a color shift quantity in an oblique direction are improved.

SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel is provided with: the liquid crystal cell; a first polarizer disposed on a viewing side of the liquid crystal cell; a second polarizer disposed on a backlight side of the liquid crystal cell; a negative biaxial optical element and a positive C plate which are disposed between the liquid crystal cell and the first polarizer; and an isotropic optical element disposed between the liquid crystal cell and the second polarizer. The negative biaxial optical element is disposed between the first polarizer and the positive C plate.
