PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving apparatus capable of increasing equalization accuracy, without increasing the number of pilot symbols. SOLUTION: A pilot symbol PS is extracted by a pilot symbol extraction unit 14. At the same time, a data symbol which can approximate the pilot symbol, is determined by a determination means 13 from a sequence of data symbols DS, extracted by a data symbol extraction unit 12 to make the data symbol a pseudo pilot symbol PS'.
