PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular drive device with a differential mechanism in which a differential restrictor is provided in a precisely supported condition. SOLUTION: The vehicular drive device comprises a power distributing mechanism 16 which has a first planetary gear device 24 as the differential mechanism for distributing the output of an engine to a first motor and a transmission member and a change-over clutch CO as the differential restrictor for selectively changing over the first planetary gear device 24 between a differential condition and a locked condition. A clutch cylinder 130 as one member of the change-over clutch CO is constructed integrally with a sun gear S1 of the first planetary gear device 24. A rotor supporting shaft 86 of the first motor is rotatably supported by a first case 12a, an input shaft 14 is rotatably supported on the inner diameter side of the rotor supporting shaft 86 by the rotor supporting shaft 86 for inputting the output of the engine to the first planetary gear device 24, and the first sun gear S1 is rotatably supported by the input shaft 14.
