PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston temperature measuring device, capable of being mounted on a plurality of pistons, while reducing the effect of engine noise, and to provide a method therefor. SOLUTION: The piston temperature measuring device comprises at least one thermocouple end, fixed on the piston for generating voltage signal, based on the temperature of the fixed point; a plurality of sensor units, including a signal processing part for generating a temperature signal from the voltage signal of the thermocouple; a plurality of Bluetooth (R) unit constituted of two communication parts for transmitting the piston temperature signal from the sensor units, from one to the other one by Bluetooth-type radio communication; and a power supply unit for supplying electric power. A plurality of the sensor units and a plurality of the Bluetooth units are provide, corresponding to the number of pistons for simultaneous measuring of the temperatures of the plural pistons.
