<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell power generating method and a fuel cell power generating device capable of virtually maximizing an electric power which can be taken outside. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell power generating device 10 is provided with a fuel cell 12 electrochemically generating power by using oxidant and hydrogen, and a fan 16 cooling the fuel cell 12, a generated power detection means 20 detecting the power generated at the fuel cell 12, a power consumption detecting means 22 detecting the power consumption of the fan 16, and a fan control part 26 controlling the power consumption of the fan 16. The fan control part 26 reduces the consumption power of the fan 16 step wise from a prescribed maximum value at every prescribed value, and calculates an effective generated power by reducing the consumed power from the generated power, and in case an effective generated power after reducing the consumption power of the fan 16 becomes lower than that of just before the reduction, the control part sets the consumption power of the fan 16 in a value just before the reduction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
