A beer keg has a pipe fitting that is used for filling, discharge and the introduction of chemical cleaning agents. The inner end of the pipe fitting extends into the keg void where it is directed at the keg inner face. The pipe end terminates in a clip fit baffle assembly that maintains a pre-defined interval between pipe and keg wall.
