[PROBLEMS] To provide a printer having a copy printing mode which can be easily set. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] When a print key of a label printer is merely pressed for more than a predetermined time (in a long key press) during printing by the label printer (S26: YES), the mode of the label printer changes to a copy printing mode, and the preset number of labels to be printed can be increased one by one (S27). When a (long key press) state that the print key is pressed for more than a predetermined time is merely released (S28: NO), the increase of the preset number of labels to be printed is stopped, and the printing starts (S31). When the number of labels printed reaches the preset number of labels to be printed (S32), the printing ends.
