<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glass fiber for reinforcement capable of being excellently bound and processed, excellent in shaping characteristics, mechanical strength, water resistance, hot water resistance and the like, and particularly excellent in color tone change resistance, surface appearance without defect of appearance, and to provide a fiber-reinforced unsaturated polyester resin composition using the glass fiber for reinforcement. <P>SOLUTION: The glass fiber for reinforcement on which a glass fiber binding agent including a silane coupling agent and a vinyl acetate-based polymer is deposited comprises 0.4 to 0.8 pts.mass of the binding agent deposited on the glass fiber to 100 pts.mass of the glass fiber for reinforcement including the binding agent, and that the solubility of the binding agent to styrene is not more than 30 mass% when the glass fiber for reinforcement is immersed in styrene. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
