<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system and its controlling method which can dispense with a user's operation of power supply ON/OFF for an image processing system. <P>SOLUTION: A printer 20 performs a printing processing according to the printing instruction issued from a client terminal 30 while being controlled by a host terminal 10 as a higher equipment.
