PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing process, which uses a heat-resistant polyimide, a thermo-compression bondable polyimide and a metal foil to give a long flexible metal foil laminate as broad as about 400 mm or more in width with good appearance and adhesive strength. SOLUTION: The manufacturing process of the flexible metal foil laminate is characterized in that a heat-resistant polyimide layer and the metal foil are laminated through a thermo-compression and cooling under pressure with a double belting press, wherein the double belting press is capable of high temperature heating and cooling under pressure.
