PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the image processing unit in which a forgery suppressing force is remarkably enhanced by reporting occurrence of forgery to a 3rd party when forgery of paper money or the like is generated. SOLUTION: The image processing unit is provided with a sensor 1 to read an original A, a storage means storing specific image data to reject the reproduction of the image, a discrimination means 2 that compares image data outputted from the sensor 1 with image data stored in the storage means and discriminates whether or not the image is to be reproduced based on the comparison result, and a communication means 5 making a notice to a prescribed destination when the discrimination means 2 discriminates the image not to be reproduced. Through the constitution above, production of forgery is reported to make a notice to a police station or the like as soon as a crime is committed so as to enhance the effect of forgery prevention and suppression. |
