<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a projecting part having a lamination structure under a sealing material in a liquid crystal display panel. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display panel comprising thin film transistors having gate electrodes, a gate insulating film, and a semiconductor layer on one of a pair of substrates, electrodes to be connected to the semiconductor layer of the the film transistors, an insulating film formed on the electrodes, pixel electrodes formed on the insulating film and electrically connected to the electrodes, a liquid crystal between the pair of substrates, a sealing material for sealing the liquid crystal, and a convex part having a lamination structure formed under the sealing material, the convex part is a liquid crystal panel formed of the lamination of the layers made of the same materials as the gate electrodes, the gate insulating film, the semiconductor layer, the electrodes, the insulating film and the pixel electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
