The flanks are connected in lower part by pairs of sheet metal portions (136a, 136b, 137a, 137b), integrated together, forming lower cross pieces (138, 139). The two portions of each lower cross piece are integrated to each flank. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a flat windshield wiper blade.
