<p>A piston for interior combustion engines with improved cooling is solving the problem of overheating of the piston top and other parts, which may be exposed to hot gases, in a simple way. Inserts or coatings made of copper or silver are installed on thermally exposed places into a standard piston made of aluminium alloy and enable better heat transfer from the piston to the surroundings.</p> |
