PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make only a sensor head disposable, thereby reducing the operation cost of a sensor system in its entirety. SOLUTION: In this sensor head connection device 1 or 2 for an optical fiber sensor system, empty ferrules 15, 15a and 15b are mounted on connectors 11, 11a and 11b fitted with optical fibers and provided on the system body 10 side, with connection end parts 32, 32a and 32b insertable thereinto and extractable therefrom of an optical fiber 31 provided on the sensor head 30 side, via adapters 20, 20a and 20b with built-in sleeves capable of keeping other ferrules coaxially in contact therewith on ends of ferrules 12, 12a and 12b with optical fibers 13, 13a and 13b of the connector housed therein.
