The vane-cell pump for the producing of a flow of pressurized medium for a consumer includes a rotor (6) rotatably mounted on a drive shaft (7) in a cam ring (3), with radially displaceable vanes (9) installed in slots in the rotor. An adjusting device (11) to change the eccentricity of the cam ring consists of a first and a second pressure chamber between the outer side of the cam ring and inner face of the pump casing (2). Pressure medium is directed to a control unit (17) through control channels (16,16') which open into the first and/or second pressure chamber approximately axially to the cam ring.
