<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable boron compound which can manufacture an ion conductivity polyelectrolyte having a high ion conductivity and to provide its macromolecules. <P>SOLUTION: The polyelectrolyte for an electrochemical device includes the polymerizable boron compound represented by a formula (1) and an electrolyte salt. In the formula, B is a boron atom, Z is a polymerizble functional group, X is a bivalent hydrocarbon group having carbon number of 1-12. When X does not exist, Z is coupled directly with the B. An AO is an oxy-alkylene group of carbon number of 2-4, m and n are the numbers of added moles of the oxy-alkylene group, two to less than 6 independently in the number of added moles of the oxy-alkylene group.
