<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for operating a window farm 12 having a plurality of wind power turbine generators 14, 16, 18 at high wind velocity. <P>SOLUTION: Wind velocity in individual wind power turbine generators 14, 16, 18 is monitored, and a signal based on monitored wind velocity is transmitted to a wind farm control system 50 from the wind power turbine generators 14, 16, 18. Change rate of total electric power output of the wind farm 12 is monitored by time and is controlled by adjusting an operation condition of the wind power turbine generators 14, 16, 18 based on the signals transmitted by one or more wind power turbine generators 14, 16, 18, operation situation of the wind power turbine generators 14, 16, 18, and monitored change rate of electric power output of the wind farm 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
